Tutors
Robert Jenkins
Robert has over 25 years experience teaching Piano & Electronic Key-board in the Swansea area. He is an examiner for London College of Music, and also a Senior Instructor for Yamaha UK for their education division, and has produced all their Piano / Keyboard, Guitar and Vocal Course publications for the UK and European market.
Robert is currently involved in typesetting a series of Graded Handbooks for Drums, Keyboard & Piano for LCME, as well as co-writing a series of a new piano / keyboard course for Yamaha Europe.
Sue Parker
Sue learned to play the electronic organ whilst working in a music shop, achieving a Grade 8 qualification. She started tutoring piano, organ and keyboard in 1988, specialising in beginner to Grade 1. A move to the Yamaha Music School Swansea, in 2001, allowed a longer-term journey with her students, enabling her to take them through to Grade 8 with the LCM examination board.
Sue enjoys developing new and, hopefully, exciting ways to engage pupils, from the age of 6 to adults of any age, and relishes the challenge of maximising every pupil's potential, whether it is for their personal enjoyment or working towards a career in music or teaching.. Building and sharing a love of music is a goal that Sue is passionate about, striving to make the best musician out of every pupil and maintaining enjoyment of the learning environment whatever the level of ability.
Learning to perform on the piano or keyboard nurtures and develops mental agility and cognitive function as well as stimulating co-ordination and encouraging discipline. The capacity to translate the visual cue of music notation to physical movement of arms, hands and fingers on keys, to produce a series of sounds which build into a coherent and immensely pleasurable experience for both the performer and the listener, is a wonderful skill to learn..
DREAM. BELIEVE. ACHIEVE. PERFORM

exam centre
TPF Music School is a registered examination centre for London Collage of Music Exams. As a public centre, sessions run three times a year in the Spring, Summer and Winter.
Sue is like a teacher from a story. She smiles when she is strict. She is kindly stern when you haven’t done enough practice and she does make it known that you have to practice, practice, practice. Patrick has taken four exams and achieved a distinction for each one (even with an arm in a plaster cast). Patrick couldn’t have done it without Sue. She is the teacher that you would give the shiniest, reddest apple.
